Your dog must be generally fit and healthy and between three and six months of age for non de-sexed puppies, and de-sexed when older than six months of age.

Are there breeds you do not accept?

Due to limitations imposed by our insurer, we do not accept the following breeds or crosses:

“My little pup Floki is 12 months old and has been heading out to the farm with Luke since he was six months old.

I love the way Floki’s tail starts waging madly when he sees Luke at the front door and how he runs to him immediately and jumps into his arms. Luke’s love of dogs is evident the moment you meet him and his dedication to ensuring each  of the dogs he is caring for has a great day on the farm is proven when Floki arrives home looking relaxed, contented and very happy. I also really enjoy watching the days adventures in the photos and on the video that is posted after the day out. Even though he is little Floki has made friends and socialises well with all the other bigger dogs which is a credit to Luke’s ability to provide lots of activities and movement.

I very highly recommend Embark to all dog owners. Well done Luke and Mariana.”

“Our boy Brandon has been going to the farm weekly since about 5months of age. From the get go it’s been really important to us to make sure he’s well socialized, especially as he’s such a big boy! In the past we had tried putting him into daycare, but didn’t really like him being stuck inside and found it disrupted his toilet training. Luckily a friend told us about Embark.

We were nervous about him being picked up by someone else but Brandon was immediately comfortable in Luke’s presence and we knew he would be in great hands! Luke took the time to come and meet him at the house first and answer any questions we had.

Since he’s started visiting the farm, Brandon has learned to be much better at reading other dogs. He loves to play boisterously but is also learning to calm down around smaller breeds who might find this behavior a bit overwhelming. He comes home tired, relaxed and sometimes a little bit muddy! We don’t mind at all because we know he has had the best time. It’s great that we can see this ourselves watching the videos and photo’s posted after each session.

Very happy customer here and would recommend Luke and Marianna to anyone!“

- Maryanne

“Our Theo loves Embark and so do we! He gets super excited when he hears Luke is here to collect him. The door to door service and local farm location are reasons we chose Embark. We love the professionalism with communication and the care and engagement with the dogs. We look forward to seeing the photos and videos to see how much fun the dogs had. Theo always comes home content and relaxed. What’s not to love?!! ”

- Cathy

“To anyone thinking about this, stop thinking and book your dog in!

They seriously have the best time with Luke and come home tired and happy😊

Our labradoodle was asked to stop coming to doggy daycare - he was apparently disruptive and barking - something he never did at home. (Think he just didn’t like being inside and was getting hyperactive due to a lack of discipline). We decided to give Luke a go and he it was love at first sight. He loves his weekly adventure 💕“

- Lynn

“I would highly recommend Embark Adelaide for all your doggie adventures… our dog Nala has been a part of the Embark family for a few months now and has really loved every minute of it! She comes back from every adventure a very happy, excited and exhausted doggie!

The dog socialisation has been invaluable, we can really see how much more confident, caring and happy Nala is around other dogs of all shapes and sizes. It’s reassuring to know that Nala is loved and cared for by both Luke and Mariana at Embark - we get regular updates and lots of photos.

Their communication and professionalism puts them ahead of others. We love Embark Adelaide and will continue to send Nala on many more adventures to come.“

- Sally

“Charlie absolutely loves her days with Embark. From the very first time she met Luke, I was immediately taken with his calming nature. Charlie is a highly excitable, highly energetic dog but the moment she met Luke, she was calm and looked up at him with the most adoring look on her face.

Charlie goes once a week. And each time, she is exhausted. But in a good way! She is calm and peaceful and sleeps solidly that night. She has grown in her confidence with other dogs and is learning some fantastic manners with other dogs.
But my favourite thing, is seeing the videos and photos of dogs just being dogs. The freedom they enjoy (whilst in a very safe environment) to explore their canine nature is such a pleasure to see. I highly recommend Luke and Embark Adelaide. More importantly, so does Charlie!! (Cocker Spaniel-working strain, 1yr 2 months!)“

- Denise

“ We have a very active and energetic kelpie, who needs a lot of exercise and stimulation. Embark has been a godsend. Molly, our dog greets Luke each week with such enthusiasm that I have no doubt she just loves him. On her return from her day at the farm, she is happily exhausted. I can't recommend this wonderful company enough.  Luke and Mariana truly go above and beyond to provide a safe and fun environment for all the dogs in their care. Embark has been a game changer for my dog's happiness and well- being.”

- Jude

“Holly is the best recommendation for Embark’ s Services. On her farm days she eagerly waits at the window for Luke to arrive.
She is an active dog and Embark has played an important part of her socialisation with the opportunity to get out and just be a dog with other dogs. She always comes home happily tired, and the videos and pictures reflect the adventures and fun she has had.
Luke & Mariana’s dedication to enhancing the dogs experience with new equipment is commendable. Their professionalism and care for Holly is outstanding. We highly recommend Embarks service for anyone seeking outstanding care and adventures for their furry companions.“

- Elisa & Matt

“We are super impressed with the way Luke and Mariana look after our Little Miss Fluffy Butt (aka Oaklyn). From the moment we met Luke, it was obvious how much he adores dogs and Oaklyn was smitten from the beginning!

Luke made a point of meeting us before the first adventure date, which we really appreciated, and the pick ups and drop offs thereafter have been seamless. We receive texts to confirm Oaklyn is home safe and sound and she is an exhausted and happy puppy when we get home. We also get to see photos of her adventures on FB - so cool!

Congratulations to you both for following your dream, creating an excellent experience for both the pooches and their owners and for just being so darn nice & easy to work with!

It’s a 5 rating from us!”

- Derrilee

“Our Peanut Kadli has been going to the farm with Embark since she was 6 months old. She loves other dogs and her farm day is a favourite.

When I tell her Luke is coming she stays close to the door waiting for him! She gets a day out in nature and plays with her many friends. We get a break from a busy puppy and get back a very happy and very tired pup for at least an extra day! Win/win!“

- Ana

“Tank has been going out with Embark Adelaide at least once a week. He gets so excited when Luke arrives and practically tows him back to the dog van so they can get going! It’s so great to be able to give our dog the opportunity to run and sniff and play with other dogs in a big natural environment.

Tank comes home happily exhausted each time. We love looking at the photos and video footage of all the dogs living their best lives! Luke obviously loves dogs and takes good care of them. We can’t recommend Embark Adelaide highly enough!“

- Sam

“When EMBARK day rolls around our Raphie is ready and waiting at the front door for his mate Luke to come pick him up. He flies out the door into the van excited to be off having fun with his dog and human pals. Luke clearly loves what he does and takes excellent care of our boy who comes home exhausted and content every time. Thanks EMBARK you guys rock!“

- Rebecca

“Henry is our 2 ½ year old Border Collie, Samoyed cross and he absolutely loves his Wednesdays at Embark with Luke and the other dogs.  He waits at the front door for Luke and as soon as he hears the Embark van it starts – tail wagging furiously and doing his special Embark Doggy dance.  He is so excited.  Then Luke appears and Henry practically jumps into his arms.  It’s so nice to see how happy he is.

We love that Henry can go somewhere safe, with exceptional care and do what dogs love to do – run, explore, sniff and play with other dogs.  He comes home exhausted, and very happy.

Luke’s love of dogs is evident in the care he take of them, his interest in every one of them and the activities he has set up for their day of play.  We also love to see what Henry does during his day away, via the videos and photos Luke posts on the Embark Instagram page

Neil and I would highly recommend Embark to anyone looking for a fun and safe day out for their dog.  Luke and Mariana have started a wonderful business and we wish them every success for the future.“

- Cathy

“From the moment Luke pulls up in our driveway Sunny is excited. We’ve told her don’t get into vans with strangers but she knows Luke’s van takes her to the best puppy party ever. Can’t recommend Embark enough. Our baby is always in safe hands.“

- Amanda

“Chases weekly day with the Embark crew is the absolute highlight of his week! It’s a big statement as he’s always on the go and leads a very busy life… but Embark days are extra special.

Chase knows it’s his day with Luke and the crew when in the morning I just attach his collar and not his walking lead. He waits a little and then heads to the gate where Luke picks him up. I leave for work and he’s sitting there waiting!!
Those that know me, know that my dog is considered family and there is no way I would trust him with just anyone.

Upon meeting Luke and witnessing his immediate rapport with Chase, I knew that Embark was going to be what we were looking for, for Chase. It provides socialisation, learning and so many amazing interactions challenging him both mentally and physically.
Luke collects and drops off Chase and it all happens while we are at work! It’s a seamless service.

The space the dogs get to play in is incredible. We are sent videos in the evening with all the dogs highlights of the day, it’s an absolute joy to watch.. just dogs of all shapes and sizes living their best lives in a safe and stimulating environment.

Team Leader Luke ensures that all the dogs undergo a wide range of activities and experiences. Chase returns home in the late afternoon exhausted. He eats his dinner and then goes into his Embark induced ‘coma’ ha! He’s out for the count!!

Luke and Mariana are trustworthy and hardworking and most importantly they understood dogs and what dogs need to thrive. Don’t hesitate to book your dog in for an incredible experience.“

- Emily

“We have never seen a dog smile like Archie does after a day with Embark at the Farm. The way Luke cares for the Dogs is amazing and he is so attentive with their individual needs and personalities. Archie certainly sleeps well after a day with Embark, and gets so excited every time he sees Luke pull into the driveway. We always look forward to seeing the updates at the end of the day to see what the dogs have been up to! Thank you Luke & Embark for all you do, couldn’t recommend highly enough.“

- Emma

“Bernie absolutely loves Embark. He goes once a week and always returns home with the biggest smile and a craving for dinner. For a dog who doesn’t always love the car, Luke’s care and consideration is outstanding which makes Bernie happily leap into the Embark van every week. It is a fantastic opportunity for Bernie to socialise with other dogs, stimulate his busy nose, and learn to share his sticks, balls, and frisbee’s. Bernie has also been able to practice recognising when it is time for a nap to not get too overtired on his adventure. Being able to go to Embark, breaks up a long week of hanging out with Mum at work, which makes Bernie one very happy, very spoilt dog. We couldn’t recommend Embark more highly to anyone wanting a fun, safe, and stimulating experience.“
